From start to finish, our Walk for Life 2024 on April 27th was such a blessing! First, all glory goes to God for providing absolutely beautiful weather, a tremendous turnout (over 530 participants), and successful event for Hope Rising! Our deepest gratitude to the hosting church, Huber Heights First Baptist, who went above and beyond to make sure the day went as planned. They were gracious and humble helpers, serving us joyfully!
The day started with praise and worship that focused thoughts and hearts on God, and then walkers enjoyed a short program before heading out to nearby Shullgate Park for a lovely 1-mile walk.
We are so thankful for support of all those that contributed their time and resources to make the Walk possible:
One event that is a highlight of our Walk for Life is the Life Saver Dinner, where we invite those individuals and teams that raised over $1,000 to enjoy an evening of celebration, food, and fellowship. We also invite any of our Walk Underwriters who donated at the $1,000 level or more. We had a delightful evening together!
Currently, the Walk for Life donations total nearly $239,000! On behalf of the Hope Rising governing board and staff, thank you for helping raise these life-saving funds!
