Since 1984, the third Sunday in January has been recognized as National Sanctity of Human Life Day when it was proclaimed by President Reagan in response to the legalization of abortion in 1973.
In 2020, 2,770 unborn babies’ lives were ended in Montgomery County. Women at risk for abortion need help and hope, and many of them are in the church. According to a 2015 LifeWay survey, 70% of women having abortions identify as Christians.
As image bearers of God, we recognize the value of every human life – born and unborn. Since 1982, we’ve partnered with churches and individuals to help those in unplanned pregnancies, and nearly 15,000 women have chosen life for their unborn babies! In 2020, 527 of our clients were empowered to choose life, and 21 accepted Christ! We would be honored to come alongside churches and organizations to help share the Sanctity of Human Life (SOHL) message by providing any of the following:
As the US Supreme Court reconsiders abortion law in America, it is critical that we – the church – continue declaring God’s truth and advocating for the protection of unborn babies.
