"What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8b
Not even the blustery weather could dampen our spirits! It was an incredible honor and blessing to join so many Walk participants as we stood for justice for the unborn and shared about God’s mercy for those in need. We witnessed a beautiful outpouring of love, faith, and unity. Despite the cold and dreary day, the Walk for Life 2025 saw record-breaking attendance!
This year, we embraced a new location again, hosting the event entirely outdoors at Schoolhouse Park. While we recognize a few processes we can improve for next year, the venue overall was a wonderful fit—offering great amenities like a playground, grandstand, concession stand, ample parking, and a beautiful paved walking path.

We packed the day with family-friendly fun.
Performers from Cincinnati Circus wowed the crowd with juggling acts and lively performances – even the stilt-walker joined in the Walk! Youth groups from Washington Heights Baptist, Wellspring Baptist, and Emmanuel Baptist kept the excitement going with giant games and face painting. Kids, and even a few adults, enjoyed a bouncy house! This year, we traded our traditional breakfast for lunch and carnival snacks instead, though with the chilly weather, we suspect our guests might have appreciated hot drinks over cold sno-cones. Of course, some beloved Walk traditions remained, including worship before the Walk (thanks to the youth group worship team from Dayton Avenue Baptist) and festive music courtesy of the Hope 100.7/93.7 The Light station van.
Each step taken, each prayer lifted, and each smile shared was a powerful testimony that life is precious and that God is moving mightily through His people.
