Walk for Life 2026: Thank You for Making an Impact
Because of the incredible generosity of our community, our annual Walk for Life has already raised an incredible $222,990, and donations continue to come in. The impact of this fundraiser will continue far beyond Walk day. Funds raised will help provide pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting support, material assistance, mentoring, and compassionate care to those who walk through the doors of any of our four Hope Rising locations.
What an amazing day it was—from start to finish, it was such a great day! And, we could not have ordered more beautiful weather! From first-time walkers to long-time supporters, volunteers, churches, sponsors, families, and teams, this year’s Walk for Life was a beautiful reminder that compassionate people working together can make a lasting difference.
This year’s event brought together hundreds of participants and volunteers who gave their time, energy, and support to help further the mission of serving families with hope, help, and care. Every donation, every step walked, every prayer offered, and every conversation shared helped make this year’s Walk a success.
Here are some fun facts to sum up the 2026 Walk for Life:
- 62 event sponsors covered all the event expenses
- 645 walkers participated by walking with us
- 725 people in attendance
- Over 100 volunteers offered their time and talents to pull off this event
- Youth from 3 churches helped with activities, teardown, and setup: Wellspring Baptist, Washington Heights Baptist, and Emmanuel Baptist (Xenia).
- 4 churches partnered with us in very specific ways for the event:
- South Dayton Presbyterian Church hosted and provided the food for our Walk kickoff event
- Centerville Christian Fellowship provided and served donuts, coffee, and orange juice during check-in
- University Baptist Church provided and served lunch after the Walk
- Liberty Baptist Church staffed the snack machinesÂ
To everyone who participated in some way, big or small, thank you for believing in this mission and standing with us to support life in our community!
